NYC Subway Map App Reviews

This app allowed me to install it on ios 5. Using the app requires a higher ios version. The app should not allow itself to be installed on ios 5 and lower.

Dont update!!!!!!! 1) loads longer 2) advertisement displayed at bottom 3) no more zoom (granted it was crappy anyway) 4) lava lamp advert got a bit cooler though

once i updated it, this app crashes once i open it, while the old version was actually ok

Cant zoom out and crashes. Old app was better

Been waiting for months for an update. Quick and easy map overview. If you have a good idea of how the NYC subways work, this is all you need. If you dont, go DL Hopstop

For locals who just need to see which line stops where.

This is awful since update. Cannot get it to open!

Had this app for years, literally. Always a great, simple reference when my commute went off-route, etc. Although the update improved the maps aesthetic, it sharply reduced its usability. Not being able to zoom in and out is particularly annoying. Deleted app today, and found an alternative.

App crashes when I try to use it. Previous version did not have this problem.

The latest update has made this app unusable. I used to use this map all of the time, but now that I cant adjust the zoom of the map to get a birds-eye view of the system, Ill have to find a different app.

Used to use this app all the time. Latest update removed the zoom function and added advertising to a paid(!) app. Thanks. Removing app now.

Dont not update if you still need to use this

Still love this app its now clearer and more legible in v2.0 but removing the zoom in and out was a mistake. Makes for cumbersome navigation. Need to re introduce it allow for super zoom too. Also why the ads? If so introduce a paid version cant stand apps :( not the only one I assume based on recent reviews.

This was a great app until the new update came. The app crashes, but when it works, it cannot zoom and has ads. Also, the old look of subway maps (loved that look, as you cant find it anymore) is gone and the icon is not as eye-catching. If you havent updated, DO NOT UPDATE!!! Otherwise, do not download it, instead, find an alternative.

This was a gr888 app... But the latest update disabled the zoom in & out... Itz hard to use now..!!

Great app but,as you can see the title.

The old version was better. Simple, no frills, a map. Now with "improvements" you can no longer zoom out and there are annoying ads in the middle of the map. Getting deleted.
